    Fabulous job! ....not

Anyone fancy working as a Senior BI Developer/Analyst, for.... £21.80/Hr?

    Thought not...

But given that they require 2 years' experience of SQL for a "Senior" position, I have to wonder what their juniors must be like...

From reading through a few of the informative threads over on the Biz/Contracts subforum, I gather that the correct term for this job is: "tulip". Or maybe a whole field of tulips near Volendam?

There's a lot of cheeky rates out there. Definitely a buyers' market at the moment.

Leaving aside the rate, it's interesting to see a "Senior" role with such low requirements. Normally it's the opposite way around, e.g. an "entry level" role which requires 10 years of experience.

Oh yes, don't we love those! Along with the "we want the moon on the stick with caviar sprinkles" contracts: must have solid experience in SQL, Azure DataFactory, Oracle, MongoDB, AWS, Databricks, Python, R, Java, .NET, [obscure in-house system no-one's ever heard of] and a track-record in the sardine-farming (NOT other fish-farming) industry.
