No and as far as we are concerned that is directly down to the off payroll rules as presently defined distorting the market for freelance workers. It remains to be seen if the latest amendment to taxation make a difference.

Yes, because the only people who should have rights are the wealthy. The right to call yourself a non-dom for tax purposes, the right to make sure anyone who actually works for a living needs multiple jobs to be able to afford to rent or buy a house. Lower classes should not have any rights at all, because they are all lazy, unlike tax-dodging millionaires who dream of a Victorian age when the poor had no access to health, no access to clean water, and no opportunity to be rewarded for their hard work. When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....Comment

You clearly haven't read the thread as there is a problem with roles whether permanent, contract or temporary at the moment thanks to Liz Truss's clusterf**k.
Incidentally an interview with her is going to be on at 7pm on LBC."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Truss you may remember, was going to cancel IR35 in its entirety. She's about the only politician who has an understanding of how damaging it is. Her f*** up on the economy was because she refused to take any notice of HMRC orthodoxy as much as anything. Ha the markets not panicked, perhaps rightly, her plan may even have worked.
Chapter 10 is the root cause here, not the economy.
