    Decent Walks...

Looking for some decent walks in the Derby dales that people can recommend.

Favourit is Ilam in Dovedale as there is a cracking pub which has now closed down. Any suggestions for decent walks (10 - 12 miles, moderate difficulty, not too crowded) and a decent pub at the end!

Edit: this is the place. Usually from the national trust past this place (http://www.cressbrook.co.uk/towns/ilam.php) to the pub and back!

          Chatsworth and surrounds

Try the walk around Chatsworth and make sure you go through Beeley where you will find the excellent Devonshire Arms with well kept real ale and a great menu - the food is very good.
