Not a fake, but he was stitched up on the edit (given he was told to use it that way) and either didn't care or didn't have the presence of mind to spot the risk. Obviously, brilliant material for attack ads and Labour have done quite well with it so far (and are unlikely to withdraw).

If he wants to last until the GE he needs to do a Teresa May - keep his mouth shut and mostly do SFA except send around a few advertising vans.
