Binged season 2 Star Trek - Strange New Worlds.

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12327578/

Definitely better than Discovery and on balance better than the more gritty Picard. Although season 2 was little frustrating as the main protagonist only appeared for one episode and referenced for a few seconds in another. The balance between episonic arc and season arc just felt unsatisfying and not the right balance, although I appreciate and respect that they are somewhat constrained by established lore. Not a fan of the whole kelvin timeline.

The casting is pretty great, especially Dr. M'Benga. Not a fan of frankly a small woman, Lt. Noonien-Singh, being chief of security, especially as she has no augmentations as her name would imply.

On Prime - Role play with that Kaley Cucaeo - The blonde girl in TBBT.

Hot girl in tight clothes kicking butt. A fairly well worn genre but great fun.

not sure if its book/TV or needs a new thread.

Dan Snow's "History hit", I quite like them on youtube he is now doing them free on Audible. 30 mins - 1hour.

He talks about a single subject.

        Great for coding.

Amazon Prime: "Reacher" Season 2 kicked off earlier this month. Perhaps not quite as on the money as Season 1, but well worth the time.

Also on Amazon Prime (well, FeeVee really, but via the Amazon Prime app): "Bosch: Legacy" an excellent continuation of the "Bosch" series. Would recommend.

yep currently watching Season 2 of Reacher for some reason he is better than Tom (mini) Cruise and though in series 1 and the books he speaks less he is more loquacious in series 2. Still a good mix of intelligence and violence.

              Agree on Bosch all versions.
