Some contractors turn up the equivalent of once every 2-3 months others a few times a week.

Plenty of contractors will take a non-remote role despite wanting remote. I urge you to stay strong and reject disliked terms; the clients will eventually learn.

This one dropped their onsite requirements after failing to get anyone decent on-site. I could have taken the 2 days onsite role but that just encourages the market to not adapt to our needs.
