In evidence to MPs, Jim Harra, permanent secretary at HMRC, said its investigations had revealed that more than 2,350 of the companies that were registered at the address owed money to the taxman...claiming that “our investigations so far have found no evidence of fraud or fraudulent intent” despite so many of the companies owing money.
