For sure don't use them for restaurants, it's useless, been to loads of places which are 4.5/5 on google reviews and it's been absolutely terrible. It's all bloody lies I tell you !

Well, at least if any of us open up a restaurant we will know the reviews are real then.

Actually from what I gather it's either tourists (especially in say Italy for example, never ever trust American reviewers), or the owners just pay for positive reviews.
