Hadn't heard about this before but it looks like if you sign up for it with Amazon then they donate 0.5% of the purchase price to your chosen charity far all eligible items.

Anyone using it?

Yep - used it for years. Lots of different charities to choose from.

Absolutely no difference in service levels and if you have the Amazon App on your phone you can set it to work there too.

You just have to save any bookmarked links so that they're prefixed with smile or else the transaction doesn't count.

Likewise been using it for several years. You get an email each year telling you how much they have contributed on your behalf and how much your chosen charity has received.

Our local primary school is on it, if I am buying on amazon anyway they might as well benefit. As a word of warning though on iOS anyway the Amazon app doesn't track the purchases and defaults away from smile.amazon.co.uk to the standard amazon.co.uk

Amazon recently notified me that this scheme is closing down. Apparently it's not doing what they hoped, or some other lame excuse.
