Neither will happen. There will be some loophole to jump straight in to an ILR and all the infinite number of dependants that were allowed to come on this visa will also be allowed to stay. The system is so broken it's next to useless.

Are we going to put any age limits on the visas?

So we only get those under 45 for example so we get a good few years of working life out of them?

Hostels I have stayed in / visited were not hotel standard 40 years ago, think B&B with dorms.

I assumed they were in huts like Auf Wiedersen pet. That seems to be normal on big sites and road work. Though one PM ex colleague took his canal boat to a 2+ year site (he had it lifted and plonked in the local waterway then lifted again, re-plated and returned to its normal mooring. Worth every penny of the £1million plus extra sales he managed.
