Johnson gets in, Parliamentary Standards Committee finds he misled Parliament, Johnson gets suspended. The ******* Magic Roundabout starts all over again. Countries around the world looked up at the UK, they looked towards the UK at how a country should be run however this cluster**** of a Tory party have badically shot that down...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Which is why it probably won't happen. I doubt Boris has the numbers, despite what his supporters say. There will be some attempt at a face saving exit before Monday, "for the good of the country, I'm supporting Sunak" etc. etc.

Another reason to support Boris -

"Senior Tories* say Johnson’s return as PM would risk Conservative party’s death

They also fear former prime minister could cause further economic damage as row emerges about number of MPs who are backing him"

          * Senior Tories - those who plotted to stab him in the back

I suspect he won’t stand now after yesterday’s meeting, which will have been “give me a peerage/give me Home Secretary and I won’t run, but will get my supporters to back you”

That would be total loser’s talk - more like he told Rishi to back the fook off whilst he still got a chance

Tory leadership news: No deal between Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak as he insists 'I'm still going for it'

Boris Johnson has told supporters he has not struck a deal with Rishi Sunak and will continue to seek the Tory leadership, the Telegraph understands.

On an 8am call with supportive Tory MPs, the former prime minister urged them to hit the phones to convince colleagues to back his campaign. The message came after Mr Johnson and Mr Sunak held face-to-face talks in London last night as they squared off over their bids to become the next prime minister.”

Like Steve Baker and David Davis plus those in the House of Lords like Lord William Hague.

A Boris Johnson victory is our best hope of reforming the UK's rotten electoral system

After 12 years of Tory misrule, the country is crying out for radical change

By Nigel “I didn’t take Putin’s money” Farage

Ever since Jeremy Hunt’s reversal of the mini-budget, senior Tories have been asking “What is the point of the Conservative Party?” That burning question is gaining traction. Now, as polling points to a historic election disaster, many pray that the return of Boris “Cincinnatus” Johnson will save this 200-year-old institution’s fortunes. I very much doubt it.

Charisma is vital in politics; one of the defining attributes of leadership. It is clear that Johnson has a personality, even if it is carefully crafted for his public appearances. Importantly, he still makes some people smile (while utterly infuriating others). So it is not hard to sketch out a scenario in which Tory members, given the chance, may back his return after a brief exile.

The bigger question, however, is of political philosophy. The electorate is deeply disappointed after 12 years of Tory misrule. In some ways, Truss and Kwarteng’s “shock and awe” approach was refreshing. For the first time in decades, a genuine Tory government seemed to be forming. Had they explained and implemented their plans more carefully, it might have worked. Sadly, the cards did not fall that way.

And the other version of the story was “Lord Johnson of Cockermouth believes he can best deliver results from the Upper House”
