A lot of the US commentators make the comment that it's not a race issue, it's a cultural one. Granted the two are so closely linked in some cases it's easy to gloss over that but it's an interesting point.Originally posted by Gibbon View Post
Figures like the above show an ugly picture that doesn't really help. They really need breaking down against other factors to give a true picture. Split it down against age, single parent families, income and location etc and you'll get a much clearer picture. I'd imagine young black males from single parent families living well below the average income will make up 90%+ of the black statistic but young males across the board will make the lions share up as well.Last edited by northernladuk; 25 August 2022, 10:01.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

So Arab,Chinese and Asian people are the least likely to be arrested? Closely followed by white British (none traveller) they are 2-3 times more likely to be arrested. So its surprising African/Caribbean are 18 times more likely to arrested than Arab or Chinese or 6 times likely to be arrested than white British (none traveller). That must be because the Po-Po are just a bunch of racists then?Originally posted by northernladuk View Post
