    Studying while contracting!

I tried this a few years ago. Had a nice contract lined up and there were some evening college courses nearby and done them. Bit of a bind as it's self funded but so glad, it was a way of getting ahead of the bear and keeping that 40 hour week. May have to do it again this year, it also made the week nights a bit more quicker to go by.

    Anyone else done this ?

Do people still take contracts that require staying away from home in the week?

In the post-IR35 era it's a non-starter, and in the post-Covid era it's probably no longer necessary, but if I had kids I'd seriously consider it

I keep doing remote projects for firms with their project base in London. The rest of the team are all over the place.
