Anyone else excited about playing with Elden Ring?

Not really a gamer but played Dark Souls for years and easily my favourite game. Elden Ring is released tomorrow anyone else taking an afternoon off to play it?

P.S. I know there is a lot going on at the moment, so just a light hearted post.

Warcraft patch 9.2 came out yesterday. In days gone by I might have had some time off to play it but a) I'm not as fussed as I was in the past and b) time off? <shudder>

So any spare time I have will be catching up with 9.2 so gonna have to pass on this one.

That's a blast from the past, must have been 15 years since I played Warcraft (assuming its WOW and not some other similar name game).

Yep, I dont have much time to play games and often would prefer using the downtime to read but Dark Souls was bloody good. So might be my Friday evening downtime.

Seems a common theme, lack of time. DS was pretty much a couple hours here every week and over the years it adds up. This game is much more open world so might not be as easy to dive in. One reviewer with an early copy was 80 hours into the game play, which is ridiculous.

I quit in Pandaria so I've got 3 expansions to play. I'm also an achievement whore so found an addon call AllTheThings which details everything that can be done in each region so having plenty of fun clearing up and getting them achievements. Only tried 9.2 for a few hours and went back to achievement grinding.

New puppy last week has put paid to much of that now.

Not sure - I do remember riding around WoW on my mechano hog though thinking I was really quite special - then they brought out flying mounts

*EDIT* - I remember getting the flying helicopter thingy but it wasn't nearly as cool as the hog...
