I was talking to somebody who works for one of the big landowners around here and she was saying that he'd told her that you can't get one for love nor money, in fact he had tried but was told that they're no longer taking orders. Don't know if this is supply chain issues or what.

I had a friend worked for Audi in Ingolstadt. He had to change his car every 3 months, because that was what Audi wanted. Most cars he was ordering took 2-3 months to build so when he would take delivery of one, he'd be ordering the next.Originally posted by courtg9000 View Post
I have heard some of the prices quoted for staff cars as low as less than £200 month for a fully loaded JLR vehicle. £200-300 seems the most popular price I have heard. I have also heard that the mileage limits are quite low.
It wasn't about testing new parts or anything like that, it was about sales figures and getting second hand models out to dealers.
He picked me up in Freising one day in an R8, which he hated, because you couldn't make business calls when driving it, and if you wanted to chat to your passenger you had to slow down - mostly due to wind noise.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment
