I'd personally welcome another early year lockdown as long as they bring back the business support grants, based on RV of commercial property, like they did last year :-)When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....Comment

Saw a quote recently: "‘If lockdowns work, why are we having another one? And if lockdowns don’t work, why are we having another one?"
Sounds neat but is rather glib and specious, because the obvious answer is that they (arguably) partly work.Work in the public sector? Read the IR35 FAQ hereComment

The point of lockdown seems to be to prevent everyone getting ill at the same time and overwhelming the NHS. Vaccines should calm that risk, but 10% nationally (much higher in London) are unvaccinated, which is why they're still quite worried. I think we'll have some form of lockdown starting in the first week of Jan, probably starting with a delay to schools opening.Originally posted by OwlHoot View PostSaw a quote recently: "‘If lockdowns work, why are we having another one? Its not neat, glib nor specious - it's downright dumb and cretinous to think/suggest that having a lockdown should produce in a binary result.Originally posted by OwlHoot View PostSaw a quote recently: "‘If lockdowns work, why are we having another one?
