Oh, may have a go. What has this got to do with BJ? He is supposed to personally police every activity by public servants?

I daresay a whole load of things could have been done better, with the wonderful benefit of hindsight. What I am dubious about is that any alternative government, given the enormous complexity of current situations, would have done any better. Keir Starmer is great at criticising, that's about it.

    He's the boss.

So when someone fecks up in a company and it goes public the CEO and senior team have to take the blame.

The Spectator (i.e. the Boris Mouthpiece) is saying that it was perfectly lawful to have a party/gathering/secret santa business meeting over wine and cheese because No10 is crown property and any public restrictions do not apply on crown property.

That would mean Liz, Phil the Greek (RIP) etc, did not legally need to obey the restrictions either, but they did so because they are less exclusive than the government.

Interesting technicality but this was never about what was "strictly legal", but attitudes and how things look. Most of the Opposition (and probably most of the population) have broken lockdown rules on a technicality at some point, I'd wager. They're just so stupid to put themselves at risk knowing full well that this sort of thing would cause big problems if/when it gets out. Surely they get training on how to avoid this sort of thing.

              They don't need training.

Their job is to spin things so they are aware of the issues if they are caught behaving differently.

Didn't work for DC, didn't work for MH, isn't going to work this time. If you're in the spotlight like this you either need to be whiter than white, or find a way to present that way... hide your dodgy behaviour not do it in front of cameras or whatever. Rookie mistakes.

Beth Rigby has a nerve, it's a fact that she partied during lock-down.

                    She got caught and reprimanded.

They need to be reprimanded now they have been caught.
