Yes of course if could be a local person, but all the transactions are for cash withdrawals in India and Bangkok.

So what do you think happened?
Ah I didn't mean there was some kind of local conspiracy or owt - yes in this case it's clearly some dodgey knacker from India.

I just meant that if the call centres weren't outsourced, you'd be just as likely to have your cash stolen, if not more (as call centre jobs are far more prestigious in India than they are over here).

I hope you get it all sorted anyway.

I don't agree. If you oursorce to India you tend to do it based on cost savings. The bulk of these savings are made by paying the call centre staff less in wages - wages which would be rubbish by our standards. Then you place that person in charge of what must seem like huge sums of hard to trace cash. I'd say that it would promote theft.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

        I preferred version 1!

Yes they get paid less than a call centre worker over here, but thats because wages in general in India area lot less than over here.
But in the scheme of jobs in India, call centre staff are one of the better jobs.

Whereas here, its one step up from working in McDonalds.

Call Centre staff and IT staff are the 2 best industries to go into in India.....well when I say India, I've really only read up/seen things about Bangalore, so I might be talking out of my arse.

Obviously they have somebody bent at their card centre lifting cards and personal details. Anyway, at this point I told them I didn't want the card anymore and could they cancel the account.

Must've cost them a few grand.
You're lucky you're not in jail for fraud. Some banks, faced with frauds reported by a customer, turn on the only person within reach and savage them instead of hunting the culprit.
