    I'm sober...

    .

However there is some truth in that. I use to try to avoid driving so I could drink.

Tube and trains are quicker in London.

Is there not some existing website that will track petrol station status? It's a bit late now but if there wasn't, "WhereHasPetrolRightnow.com" could've made someone a shedload if they could've rushed it through in 24 hours a week back.

Finally got around to filling up the wife's car with petrol. Had to try 5 stations, 1 had nothing, 3 had diesel only and the final one was fully operational with everything. No queues at any, 8pm Saturday night in Birmingham. After a date with Mr Bond at the cinema.

Trip to the Welsh border barely nuged the fuel needle on mine so just under half a tank now. Should be good for another month with both cars.

Filled The Wife's (tm) car up yesterday. No diesel at the pumps, all pumps busy but no queue. The only negative was that the first pump to come free was the wrong side for her car, so it was a stretch to get the nozzle in.

I wonder how all this is affecting sales and interest in EVs?
