I'm not sure I'd want HM Gov spending £m on the hardware and technical resources required to provide a CDN of the same quality and performance as that offered by Fastly and the other key players in the industry.

I'm sure if they ( Fastly ) continue to be unreliable, then people will switch to another provider.
