All Your Data Belongs To Us

UPDATE - date has been moved to 1st September 2021

This was mentioned in another thread.

If you want to opt-out of your GP sharing your data in England you need to do it by 23 June. You need to use a paper form.

If you want to opt-out of NHS digital sharing your data you have have a bit longer. You can do it electronically for yourself and it is separate from above.

There are plenty of news stories about it including how you can be identified from the data shared.

Both forms are really simple so its well worth taking 5 minutes to do.

          How is that GDPR compatible?

Especially the bit that you can’t delete it past opt-out date - where is me letter offering to opt-out in an easy way online?

            There isn't one.

Just do your two opt outs and then start taking the government to task over this.

Or better - start class action soon, this should get millions joined in, use GDPR to fine Govt 10% annual revenues…

The data they use is anonymous. All you're doing by excluding your data is holding up medical research.

I used to work for a major Internet company and the privacy laws in this sector are taken very seriously. There's no way you can trace this data back to an individual.

                I'm alright Jack
