“In an interview with The Telegraph newspaper published on Saturday the prime minister gave no details of his intentions, but said he thought a referendum “in the current context” would be “irresponsible and reckless”.”

The Greens will vote with them for one. But as the parliament is not allowed to vote for a referendum ( it is out with their legislative competence ) they will make lots of bills up like...

"We really want a referendum Act 2021"
"Boris is a fanny for saying no to a referendum Act 2022"

And that is how life will go on in Scotland for the next 5 years.

I would advise filtering out all web content that contains the word "mandate" and go out and enjoy life.

What complete tosh. Just because the SNP don't have an overall majority, it doesn't mean that the majority of seats aren't won by parties supporting independence.

Yep the Scottish Greens got 8 seats so the Independence supporting parties won 72 of the 129 seats.

            Now the games can begin...

It doesn't matter whether the SNP have a one seat majority or not, if the Scottish parliament votes for an independence referendum Boris has a problem, a big problem.
              I'm alright Jack

Now that brexit is done ( thanks to Boris, peace be up on him ) and nobody can be bothered with COVID killing folk in other countries this will be pushed for weeks on the news.

This will get nowhere and will be over when the football starts.
