So where can a pregnant woman meet with friends and family that she might need for support? Surely a distressed mother is not good for the unborn child either? But, as you're the man, you obviously know what's best for women's health.

A private garden or the park.

Is it though? It might provide a good incentive for those who are just "vaccine hesitant" to get the jab, without actually forcing people to have it (which I wouldn't support). True, it wouldn't be completely fair on those you can't get the jab, for whatever reason; pregnant, ill health, allergies etc, but those people are relying on the rest of the population to get vaccinated in enough numbers so that they can enjoy the resulting herd immunity. If covid passports encourage enough people to get the jab, then perhaps they are a price worth paying?
Where it really wouldn't be fair, IMO, is if younger adults hadn't yet had a chance to get vaccinated, despite wanting to. Then they'd have to watch the olds living it up down the pub whilst they miss out, having already sacrificed a year of their lives in protecting these very same olds - despite the risk to the young having been low. That would stick in the throat a little.

So everyone else is allowed to meet indoors but those that are pregnant, and want to talk to people that are pregnant, are only allowed to meet outdoors regardless of the weather?

I hope you'll support the government in supplying cagools and umbrellas to help keep them dry when it's blowing a gale and the rain is horizontal.

If you're going to discriminate then you should be consistent.

Anyone who has ever refused any form of vaccination should be prevented from taking part in any form of social activity. Why pick on one disease? There's loads of people who haven't had their MMR jab, yet they're allowed to move around in society without a yellow star on their chest.

Actually if it is a support group for parents and children under 5, then they can meet outdoors from 29th March and indoors from 12th April.

Maximum number of people aged over 5 in the group is 15.

Edit - this policy is clearly to cover things like NCT and parent and baby groups.

There are lots of family pubs in my area and at least half the staff are definitely under 30. This is one of the last groups to get vaccinated.

I know plenty of teenagers who as soon as they were 18 got jobs in pub/bars.

The current vaccination policy excludes them.

I believe that nurseries are allowed to - and some do - prevent unvaccinated children from attending. I think this might happen more widely in some other countries as well. I'm not against it.

I would have thought that if you are in a group that is unable to be vaccinated, then you are more at risk - so the last thing you would want to be doing is mixing at close quarters with other people.
