    The Great Escape

No copy and paste because it could be taken out of context. It's a long article but very informative.

The problem was that Trump said so much nonsense that one tended to ignore everything he said. And he may just have been right on this. Not that we can do much about this now.

Similarly one day AtW may post something correct.

To quote from joke thread, odds of aliens arriving 10,000 to 1. Odds of AtW posting something correct - ask the aliens when they arrive.

That's a lot of pressure to put on newly arrived aliens. Not exactly welcoming

So you have not read the article then. Paddy is not saying the virus came from a lab. Only that the evidence needs looking at. Those Chinese can't be trusted. Except in one area.

I read that article when it was first published back at the start of January. General consensus among virologists, epidemiologists, and suchlike on Twitter was that it was tripe.

"Bat-borne Coronaviruses do not just emerge thousands of miles away from the nearest relevant bat population but metres from a military lab studying these viruses without good cause."
I have an open mind about this however, people with qualifications and greater minds than those one CUK are sceptical as to the origin of covid 19

Fury as '''whitewash''' WHO probe finds Covid did NOT start in Wuhan lab and backs China'''s claim it came from elsewhere

"extremely unlikley" means there was a chance it could have been.

And Yes one year plus after the virus started and with Chinese authorities deciding what the WHO team see - this is a really qualified statement.
