One in 50 people in England had Covid last week, says Chris Whitty
Since Feb 2019:
3 friends dead
4 others recovered, one not so much.
several acquaintances dead or recovered, but not all fully.
it's not a pleasant illness <i know, an oxymoron>
Is your friendship group exclusively very old and/or sick, because that seems hugely statistically unlucky?
Yeah I got it, just did not word my joke very well...
Whacko theory of the day. Me and the Mrs have had a string of bad colds ( that must have come in via the kids ) but they have been healthy. I normally get one a year at most so I'm wondering if not mixing with other adults has confused the immune system.
I have yet to hear of anyone I know having the virus.
No one?? Even at the client? or parents of friends? or are you just picking a certain level of friends? Seems extremely unusual that. Up to the week before xmas my first level circle of direct friends hadn't had a case (which is pretty obvious as I have no friends but that aside). Two or three have it as of this week.. But talking about the client, my lads mates, my partners friends etc there are many many people affected.
