Maybe he's not as repressed anymore. He may not be ready to self-identify as homosexual yet, but accepting that he is a man who has sex with men would be a big step for him, from claiming that he keeps waking up in public toilets after being mugged for his trousers.

It may sound like that to you, but perhaps you're just overly PC and easily triggered. I'm just helping BR14 come to terms with his identity. How else do you interpret his regular homophobic and xenophobic hate speech? There's something going on. In any case, I'm sure a hardy military man like BR14 is fine with a bit of a banter and doesn't need you to protect him. And if it bothers him, he can always say.

Baiting someone over being homosexual - whether you think they're in the closet, homophobe themselves or whatever - is in and of itself in my opinion homophobic. It's certainly bullying. Take some time to think about it.
