I'll gladly stand by any post I make calling you stupid. You keep quoting them.Originally posted by AtW View PostRules: we collect quotes here worthy of the Awards to be decided in December 2021.

Why quote that when I can quote you calling tens of thousands of people who will inevitably die over the months as "imaginary future deaths, not real ones"Originally posted by d000hg View PostI'll gladly stand by any post I make calling you stupid. You keep quoting them.
Anyway, the new rule of the COTY 2021 is that nominants are not allowed to influence the decision making of the secret judge panel by disputing matters related to their nomination.Comment

Ok, my concrete, testable prediction is that you will be one the COTY 2021 winners at the end of this year.Originally posted by d000hg View PostPlease form a concrete, testable prediction.

Running away already? You've derided my dismissal of your claim that Boris has caused additional 10s of thousands of (future) excess deaths, so you need to define "additional".Originally posted by AtW View PostOk, my concrete, testable prediction is that you will be one the COTY 2021 winners at the end of this year.

You cannot simply point to "there were a lot of deaths" in Q1 2021 because there were going to be anyway, you need to prove there were a lot MORE.
So shall we try to agree what the case-count would have been? You'll need to specify exactly which decisions should not have happened too. The easing of lockdown 2, are you claiming we should have remained in national lockdown all this time as your baseline?Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Yes, obviously, then we'd be at far lower base - mild relaxation would have allowed us to get to March-April with vaccinations running at full speed and weather favouring us.Originally posted by d000hg View PostThe easing of lockdown 2, are you claiming we should have remained in national lockdown all this time as your baseline?
But now we got 2 cold months ahead with 50k+ baseline before Xmas/NY spikes manifest themselves (in the next 2-3 weeks).Comment

What were the daily cases on the day we returned to local restrictions?
And how much difference do you think lockdown 2.0 would've made to the spread of covid 2.0?
And of course, was there much evidence or call to remain under national lockdown 2 all the way until Spring at the time? I remember a lot of dissatisfaction that London was T2 not T3 but the devolved nations were for instance broadly acting in the same way as England.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Dear Candidate, this is the wrong thread to dispute your Candidacy, links were given to the original thread in question, please do it there.Comment

No thanks. Proving your inability to back a testable prediction can be done in both threads.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
