I don't usually bite for their drivel, but I must defend Lewis, he has achieved something remarkable in the MOST elite/moneyed sport in the world considering he came from a council estate and his old man worked 2 jobs to fund the 100K+ you needed to go Karting, and he had a tulip kart at that and still blew the field away (oh yeah, he's black on top of ALL that). The inevitable Lewis Hamilton the Movie will have a huge amount of material to work with, such has been his life.
And then you get some miserable old twat on a forum slagging that off....sums up everything wrong with the world in my opinion.Comment

He fecked off to Switzerland for tax reasons as soon as he made it big - he earned the money but he should not be getting a Knighthood because of tax residency decision, it sets very bad precedent.Comment

Based on that neither Hamilton nor Brillo should be getting it
In reality I suspect he could live in the UK but why would you given the choice of Monaco (where you would be left alone) or elsewhere where cameras would follow you all the time.merely at clientco for the entertainmentComment

It would be fun to publish a list of people who would have got honours if they weren’t tax dodgers.Comment

I always find it fairly surprising how much of an idiot you are, and you choose bizarre hills to go all in on with your idiocy.Comment

Thought not.
He probably pays some tax that he can't avoid due to him performing in the UK, but that would cover all world class performers which does not make them UK taxpayers.
Still, keep on bitching if you makes you happy. Just try a little bit of research next time.Blog? What blog...?Comment
