Maybe you start a stopwatch when the doorbell rings or can track it on your CCTV but they aren't autistic like you.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostA whole hour or maybe it might've been half an hour.

They're not gonna nick you for it and I doubt it'd meet the threshold for an arrest even if they wanted to - it's a PR disaster waiting to happen, and the Police know they're on a knife-edge with this stuff already. Several of the bobbies I know are under strict, specific, instructions to not arrest people at all for minor COVID related offences.Originally posted by AtW View PostThat’s just asking for it - before Xmas also
Besides which, at some point you owe it to yourself anyway. Despite PACE, cops are still pretty good at being your best friendly mate and catching you with your pants down.
If they believe you're committing a crime, and have evidence, then they should be cautioning you and you should be getting a solicitor. What things like the OPs event is (Taken at face value) is a fishing expedition and/or an attempt to scare you.
(And I say this as somebody relatively pro police)Last edited by vwdan; 23 December 2020, 22:22.Comment
