I suggest we match whatever the Arabs/Indians/Chinese (and previous slavers) pay as they were buying unknown numbers of Africans from their brothers since the 7th century and more after the Arabs stopped raiding Europe as we were too difficult to capture.

The Europeans didn't start buying slaves from Africa until the 14th century. Apparently ~90% of the African slaves were captured & sold by an enemy tribe. Portraying themselves as only victims is hard to support.

Maybe multiple tariffs charged to each guilty party makes sense.

We obviously need to index link the reward which should bankrupt the Italians, Greeks, Egyptians and Persians before the UAE sells up. Capturing slaves is obviously the most grievous injury as the other offences follow.

I think we also need reparations for misogyny, race discrimination and millennia of raping the earth.

After a quick look an article in 2005 says that's about $350 bn... Christ knows what that is in todays money plus increased borrowing. They owe Chain $150 bn so safe to say 350 is way out...

Calculate it at an assumed number of hours per week at the then market rate for a farm labourer, domestic servant etc. Work out what the liability sum is first, and then work out who the beneficiaries and liable parties are.

Whether / how to enforce it is fantasy politics, but it would be fun to to the first para, just for the triggering of gammonflakes and their fellow travellers.

if you do that African kings that sold their enemies into slavery will be bankrupt before we get past the 14th century. It is all or nothing.

Dig history and you will find that that over many centauries, the monarchy plundered and confiscated land and turned the owners into surfs and peasants and later threw farmers off their land and move them to towns.

Then let us prosecute everyone as I suggested but by the time African royalty started paying the slaves they captured and sold in the first few centuries their debt would be much bigger than 350Billion.
