They rang my Mrs last week reminding her that her return was due. I was wondering what they were upto !? Is this routine ?

Myself and Mrs Lucifer both got reminder calls last week which was puzzling seeing as they were both filed on-line a couple of days previously. I queried this with the lady and she said, "oh, we don't have access to the system, we're just working through lists of names, addresses and phone numbers that were printed off for us a couple of weeks ago."




Mind you, DairyCrest phoned me the other day and asked if I'd like my milkman to start leaving me some orange juice. "Not really", I said. "Why?", they asked. "Because he does already", I riposted. Still, that's so-called, self-styled "systems" for you.

Got harassed by the local milkman while tidying up the front garden, he gave it the real hard sell, times must be hard in the milk game.

I don't think the IR are organised enough to be ringing up a hit list of soon to be investigated contractors ! Or should I have a sleepless night of worry !?

I'm not having sleepness nights over the call. I'm quite sure it's routine. Why they care so much is beyond me, after all they get bonus fines/interest payments for every late submission.

In any case I'm planning to escape to a remote island with sexy babes, crystal clear waters and a great £/x currency exchange if they come after me.

I had a similar plan but have messed up by acquiring a family. I manage to avoid the sleepless nights on the whole but now and again it gets me and I think its time to go permie.
