Because the agency told someone else in DVLA what would have been a simple task is suddenly a whole lot of paperwork because HR have been told and are involved.

I went to spain when government said it was ok to go. They changed the rules when I was there. Of course, I knew it was a risk.
Of course, client can react how they see fit but asking me to break the law is not one of them.

If its your personal choice not to do what I did then thats up to you....

Essentially you knew there was a chance it might happen, no one can say they were unaware given the last few months that government might close an airbridge to another country at the drop of the hat. Granted there wasn't much notice, however it's a bit hard to feel sorry for people that decided to holiday while the virus is still prevalent.
