It’s the extent that the state dictates to businesses that matters. Economic forces don’t necessarily determine how Chinese business acts.

Anyway the Chinese party consider China to be a communist state.

Any country that gets naughty this winter will have to use bandanas instead of N99 masks made in China.

Great Britain won’t even do anything to Putin even tho Russia makes feck all stuff that is sold to Britain - basically money laundering is the only export, but China makes everything - they won’t even need ICBMs targeting UK - land based nuclear plants will do and Britain will pay for it, real genius - but what would you expect from 2000+ years old civilisation vs 5 years till next election MPs?
      Insightful stuff.

With "£350M for the NHS" written on the side?

I'd pay good money to watch that.

The UK universities are very nervous as one in four students are Chinese, there could be big losses of revenue.

My cousin's partner used to spend a lot of time in HK and China recruiting students for some university or other. One suspects they don't have much of a job any more

Esp bad here, as fees are free the unis have to fill them with Chinese to make money. Some courses must be 90% Chinese I reckon and there are loads of massive buildings around town to cater for them.
