Well there is a life threatening pandemic that's killing millions out there... they have to wear a mask to help them stay alive while they work.. yeah.. poor sods...
Just over half a million worldwide - from a population of ~7.8 Billion.
So ~0.007%
Be afraid, be very afraid.
Old Greg - In search of acceptance since Mar 2007. Hoping each leap will be his last.

Half a million dead from 13 mln infections, so close to 4% mortality, let's assume that 10 times more cases don't get detected (mild asymptomatics), we are looking at 0.4% mortality - so looking at 31 mln dead, which in reality will be a lot more due to collapse in health systems, plus even higher number will have disabilities for long period of time.
But yeah, don't let this stop you from getting this "mild flu" thing, just don't pass it to anybody else.

All the credible figures are around 0.2 - 0.3% so pretty close to what you said.
Definitely small on a percentage scale but massive on an absolute scale.
When you compare it to other health and safety figures though it's a very high percentage.
Could you imagine if you had a 0.2% chance of dying on an airplane? You'd never take a flight again.
Any occupational risk where there was a 0.2% chance of fatality would be taken very seriously and appropriate ppe and other mitigating measures would be strictly enforced.
I don't think we need to stop living and fear everything but ppe in higher risk situations like in an indoor confined shop is very reasonable response.
It's not just death - many survivors get organ damage, so that's long term cost on health systems - maybe ok for the USA where insurers will just deny medical cover due to this being "pre-existing" condition.
The big question is how many idiots will refuse to wear them - thankfully they at least can’t say that it breaches their Constitutional rights since there is no Constitution in the UK

Could you please elaborate - exactly what kind of "virus test" was used to arrive at your figure of 13 million infections ?
