What about the poor sods working in the stores stacking shelves etc? Presumably they'll be wearing them 9-5 which is pretty much continuously IMO. But maybe staff are exempt? I don't know.... -

I think lots of them are already wearing masks.Originally posted by Excursion UK View PostWhat about the poor sods working in the stores stacking shelves etc? Presumably they'll be wearing them 9-5 which is pretty much continuously IMO. But maybe staff are exempt? I don't know....
Im fine with mask requirements in shops and anywhere else indoors but the timing is a little off. Would have been better introduced during peak. Especially considering they are advising people to just make their own masks so shortages shouldn't have an impact.Comment

Hardly worth crashing the economy off a cliff and storing up massive problems for the months and years to come - mass unemployment, business failures, home repossessions, huge increase in mental health issues among the general population, suicides, increased deaths from non-covid related issues.Comment

Not in the UK, but in some US states you must wear them in any public space IIRC which could be quite prolonged.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostNobody's suggesting people wear masks continuously.
I saw somewhere staff may be exempt but... you just have a company policy to replace it every X hours.Originally posted by Excursion UK View PostWhat about the poor sods working in the stores stacking shelves etc?
