WTF? He's just been sacked, you dont even reference the contract on your CV. You just write it off a bad contract.

I have already walked out, am at home at the moment, when they told me their condition I told them that I need to get home and think about it, I didn't want to say anything in anger. The agency and the clien are awaiting my decision. They claim that upsetting people is considered mis-conduct, and I wouldn't have a leg to stand on if I go legal, I don't really want to go legal, if I insist for them to pay me notice this means I'll have to work this notice, am not keen to do that.

          Upsetting people??!?

          WTF?

Mate, if you are at home, then just take it. Say to them that you accept their decision to sack you and you are now looking for alternative employment.

          END OF.

Agents never back up contractors and will give you bad advice.

            Go legal straight away.

Come to think of it, both seem fairly applicable!!

Who asked you to send it? If it's your manager it is their neck on the block, surely?

Do not insist on notice, accept that upsetting people is misconduct and termination was valid.
However, you have suplied work under contract which they are refusing to pay for. Legal action would come out on your side.
If you are opted in then the agent has to pay you whether the client pays them or not.
Point out that the monies owed are liely to be a lot less than if you win in court.
Point out that without proper payment you hald the intelectual rights on anything you produced.

                    Seek legal advice.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!
