      if the infection rate is tracking near to or lower than other European countries, but the death rate is tracking supposedly higher (per million stats don't always agree)..

      Isn't this an indicator that our nation is just unhealthier? Less likely to survive a rough bought of flu let alone Covid-19?

      Or perhaps we just got unlucky and some majorly vulnerable populations got hit hard first?

            Or simply because there is no consistent tracking of cause of death across each individual country.

            So while we're not quite comparing apples with pears, we're comparing Pink Ladies with Coxs (insert apple of choice here)

                      Just to be clear the daily sensational 'death' figures are for media consumption and are missing everything that isn't hospital related.

                      The ONS figures collate everything reported up to the cut off, may exclude some longer running analysis (such as disputed post mortem) but is accurate and does include those from Care homes.
