My late dad's best friend died from the virus. He was 82 and was actually in really good nick. Went swimming, shopping, socialising. He lived in Birmingham. Story featured on Sky news a few days ago. Really depressing as I'd planned to visit him in a couple of months.
Look after yourselves and take care.

What OG said (abbreviating it as per normal convention not advisable)

In terms of numbers we do approx 1800 per week on average and we have approx 20% market share (slightly lower in reality but it makes the numbers easier).

We peak at about 2200 funeral per week during the normal busy period over the winter months.

So we can cope with a 400 increase - and that equates to approx an extra 2000 deaths per week overall - so no need for mass graves quite yet.

And finally the business is concerned with the welfare of the bereaved, care of the deceased and care and safety of employees before any consideration of profit at any point in time.
Again it's only rumour but I have heard that there is an option of using refridgerated articulated trailers and containers if it gets out of hand storage wise. I'm guessing Cooperation will be needed if that comes to pass though. I was working in the Portsmouth area, I think they called them "G21's" or something when we were called out. Space in local NHS fridges pre posting was always at a premium in winter. In fact when I call my local hospital now my phone still remembers the number as "QA Mortuary"... I had to "collect" people as young as 19 whose hearts had just stopped. Death can visit when it feels like it. I had to stop doing it after I got two cot deaths in a row. Only so much I could handle. So any underlying condition? Pretty much anything if you are under the weather it's a risk.

The Prime Minister has tested positive for Corona virus. He has mild symptoms and will self-isolate in Downing Street. but he will still be in charge of the government's handling of the crisis.
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

He's been snogging Nadine Dorres behind the HoC bike sheds.

We have rather a lot of threads you can insult each other, can we possibly try to keep this one clean?
