No one will be commuting after April (without face masks) with widespread working from home for several months - projects cancelled contractors laid off - food shortages, stock markets crashed
I told her bollocks, but she said you need to get it now and survive otherwise the future strains will have a higher mortally rate

Seems to be no worse than flu but doubling number of flu cases would presumably impact economy. And what will be impact in poorer countries that don't have decent health care? Lots of Chinese involement in Africa.

I think it will peak before Christmas - Summer more like, this is an extremely infectious disease. R0 is nearly 50x that of the flu.
The economic hit is going to be phenomenal. Nevermind us, contractors, everyone is going to not get paid. Everything is going to change.Comment
