Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson -

MUSIC: Friday Night is Music Night
On: BBC Radio Two
Date: Friday 4th February 2011 (1 hour and 52 minutes left)
Time: 20:00 to 22:00 (2 hours long)
Another chance to hear Ken Bruce present a special concert recorded at RAF Northolt to mark the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The BBC Concert Orchestra is conducted by Roderick Dunk and they join forces with the Central Band of the RAF and the RAF Squadronaires under the baton of Wing Commander Duncan Stubbs. Friday Night favourite Mary Carewe and Flight Lieutenant Matt Little sing songs that boosted wartime morale. Plus there's music on an aviation theme - including William Walton's Spitfire Prelude and Fugue; Eric Coates' Dambusters March; and Ron Goodwin's 633 Squadron.
