Yikes!!! I literally just signed in to ContractorUK this morning to have a mosey around and saw this.
I have over £85k tied up with them!! I guess I'd better open a separate business banking account and get the hell out of MetroBank ASAP!!!
The FSCS only goes up to £85k, so I stand to lose well over half my earnings overnight.
Fancy that!! Such is life as a small business owner, I suppose.
Does anyone know how quickly MetroBank could go bust? Will there even be time to get out, assuming it may take 5-10 business days to open an account with a different bank?Comment
