    Domestic Travel Query

    Hi,
Can you travel within the UK (Prestwick to Stansted) without a passport? I've lost both my passport (was out of date) and drivers licence (card part). The trip was a Christmas present so I didn't plan for it. Leaving on Saturday!!

Yes. Take a train or a car or a coach. I doubt you'll persuade the tank-brains at either airport you aren't a risk without paperwork in quadruplicate...

You could always phone them and ask them of course.
    Blog? What blog...?

Airlines aren't allowed to take you without photo ID. You could probably organise a passport in 48 hours or less but it's gonna cost you.

Cost = £108 to be exact and you have to apply in person at a Passport Office.

As far as I know any type of photo ID does the job, driving license, bus pass, avatar...
