"The ONS said the drop was driven by the industrial action, with senior doctors and radiographers striking over pay on two days each, and junior doctors walking out on five days in the month."
That's a hell of a stable economy if a few days of striking brings it down so much. We seem to be scraping the bottom, can't we just agree we are in recession?

It's actually worse than a recession.
MARCH: Down 0.3%
APRIL: Up 0.2%
MAY: Down 0.1%
JUNE: Up 0.5%
JULY: Down 0.5%
Inflation: 6.4% (If you believe that)
All we are missing is for them to admit rising unemployment and boom, stagflation, which is far far worse than a recession as the treatment for your cancer is AIDS and vice versa.
