Since the internet undermined the economic model of traditional journalism meaning they need a nice, cheap, space filler as click-bait to serve up adverts.

But what I find appalling is that it's not appalling.

A quick bit of googling tells me the around 9700 people die in road accidents in the UK, German & France each year. About 26 a day.

There's a good chance that someone died in one of those 3 countries in the last 45 minutes.
