The problem with science is that it can only measure and validate what it can observe. As "science" cannot tell us why we are here we are left to get those questions answered elsewhere. An interesting mp3 series I am listening to, starts here

The problem is Chico, if Science is unable to provide complete answers to those questions yet then what else can?

The Bible is no proof either, yet you choose to believe it to the letter. What is it about the Bible that makes you believe its stories rather than the efforts of the scientific community ?

If Jesus appeared today then it would be a bit easier to figure all this out! But you are basing your belief on something that was written thousands of years ago when people did not have access to the knowledge they have today.
