For the record: I don't believe in the absolute nonsense that the EDL puts out to its loyal fanbase. It is surreal to witness the tripe they promote.

Focusing on the police presence at the trials: it did feel a little surreal to me to see those personal videos from this double-named correctly discredited Tommy person. The police do seem to have a camera on him, with a large number of police officers present.

If someone does something illegal it does not take such a high number of police officers present to arrest or stop something illegal occurring if the suspicious is there. Of course there could be another reason why a lot of police were present.

Being so thick to cause a rape trial to potentially collapse by the actions of the self, for his own promotion, is bad enough, but when one looks on at a distance it does seem that their firebrand flag is flown somewhat by the police, as this will feed the EDL/Tommy followers.

We are all disgusted by the actions of people who groom, sexualize and abuse children. Presuming someone is guilty and attacked them on video before they've even been convicted is of paramount stupidity. Lessons for both sides here, but clearly the most lessons are for Tommy Tit.
