I find the solution to this sort of problem is to start contracting. You seem to have shown eqanimity and will succeed in a contract career

You’re a permie? And you’re going to ‘push’ for 2 days working from home?

Good luck for that, you’ll never last the probation period.

Haven't you read the State of The Market thread ? I can't get a contract 2 years now bro, that is why I always find it funny when I read someone took 3 - 4 months tops to get a contract.. 2 years bro.

So I have this contracting mindset, direct manager is not in my country , we are like outsourced desk. Funny to be a perm.

If I don't last the probation period it means I was not accepted as an autonomous independent worker able to deliver any work
load as long I am not being micro managed on a daily / half-daily basis.

If that permie will know what I am working on all the time, then maybe part of my work will be managing his time and this will involve controlling when he speaks to me. Then we will have democracy.

Decided to write this here, as I know people here know what I am talking about.
Posting it where someone gave a tulip might have been better

I find it strange that you haven't found anything in 2 years, you have shown great spirit. I am sure that if you give it another go you will find something in 2 months tops. Things are really picking up in Harlsden.
