    London

There do seem to be initiatives afoot to improve London, especially just East of the city. They do appear to be trying to sort out the public transport, although sometimes it seems they think retiling a tube station ( And keeping is closed on weekends fro 6 months) will do the job.

London is far more heavily populated than most other major west european capitals and I think most people live here for the opportunities presented by its comparatively raging employment market.

Its dirty and expensive and a very mediocre quality of life here costs a stinking fortune. If you are struggling to make ends meet, there are better places in the world to do that.
There are no evil thoughts except one: the refusal to think

Cetainly not advisable to live there when bird flu hits.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Certainly not a place to bring up kids, which is now on the agenda. Apparently, so I've been told.

Interesting piece in the Torygraph which would seem to explain Mrs Thatchers feelings towards Pinochet.
