Luxury villa with private pool, a view and help in the sun-drenched Italian, Potuguese, or Spanish countryside or Greek island.

It is possible to spend many thousands of pounds and travel the same number of miles to a tropical paradise to find oneself surrounded by fellow IT professionals, as happened to a colleague of mine. On the other hand, you can have a week in a caravan at Brean for a tiny fraction of the price, not have to get on a plane and come back feeling considerably more refreshed, if not so tanned.

Is Brean the exclusive end of the Burnham-on-Sea caravan area, or separate from it?
I've heard the coast and its hinterland along Burnham on Sea is the largest caravan centre in Europe. Doesn't sound like my ideal Arcadia but there you go. Maybe there are quiet parts.
Had a quick look for Brean on Google maps and it is clearly the furthest north, but looks somewhat inconvenient to make a quick trip by road to Weston Super Mare for an evening out
