Not racist. Just another example of a non-productive parasite with an over-inflated sense of his own importance demonstrating his own ignorance and insecurity. I stopped worrying about them years ago.
I' m more irritated by the Wels names for places In Pembrokeshire that are resolutely English-named (albeit a mix of 11th century Flemish and Elizabethan English. Milford Haven for example is now Aberdaugleddau, which is inaccurate at several levels...Blog? What blog...?

That can't be a real name, even in Wales...
Ynys Mon is the original name of Anglesey (another English-enforced name...). AM is "Assmebly Member". Rhun is an old Welsh forename and "ap Iowerth" is "the son of Iowerth" in the same way that MacTavish is the son of Tavish.

No mate. Welsh has 7 vowels. a,e,i,o,u,w and y. It's different language from English; the letters have different sounds. Just as as in German, "w" is pronounced "vee", or in French "h" isn't even pronounced.Originally posted by Mordac View Post
